Privacy policy — Centroid Engineering Solutions

Centroid Engineering Solutions Pte Ltd ("we", "us") is a company incorporated in Singapore, UEN 201308058R. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").

1. What we collect

We only collect what you type into our enquiry form, plus a small amount of technical data your browser sends automatically.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send, any special-category data — identity-document numbers, financial details, health data, or anything confidential to your employer.

2. Why we use it, and our legal basis

Under the PDPA we rely on your consent, given when you submit the enquiry form, and on the legitimate interests exception for keeping our own systems secure. Where the EU GDPR applies to you, the equivalent bases are Article 6(1)(a) consent and Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests.

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a scope or quotation.
To maintain a record of the enquiry for our own project and audit trail.
To protect this website from abuse.

We do not use your data for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

Only where necessary, and only with:

Our email and hosting providers, acting on our instructions as data intermediaries. ▮ Name your providers here.
Professional advisers, where we are required to take advice.
Regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally obliged.

If any of these are outside Singapore, we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable standard of protection, as PDPA section 26 requires.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, then delete or anonymise them. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the record is retained for the period required by our contract and by the accounting and limitation rules that apply to it.

5. How we protect it

Access limited to the staff who need it to answer the enquiry.
Transport encryption (HTTPS) across the whole site.
No third-party tracking or advertising scripts on any page.

6. Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores two small values in your browser to remember your choices, and it does not load third-party embeds until you allow them. The detail, per item, is in our cookie policy.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

Access the personal data we hold about you, and how we have used it.
Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Withdraw consent to our continued use of it. We will tell you the likely consequences before we act.

Where the GDPR applies, you additionally have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection.

Write to our Data Protection Officer at sales@centroides.com. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and respond substantively within 30 days. If we cannot meet that, we will tell you when we can.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please raise it with us first through our complaints procedure. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

9. Changes

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use data already collected will be notified to you directly where we hold a contact address for you.
